| This Club has two very different 18-hole courses. The Mauka Course was built on an inland hillside. There are lava areas on both courses which are played as lateral hazards. Both courses have water hazards in play. An ancient Hawaiian slide is located between the #1 and #10 holes on the Mauka Course. The signature hole is #14, a 171-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot from an elevated tee, over a lake, to the green. The fairways on the courses are fairly wide and the greens large and fast. The courses were awareded a three star rating in 1994 by "Golf Digest." |
