It features three outstanding 18-hole courses and annually hosts the PGA Lincoln-Mercury Kapalua International Tournament. The Plantation Course is a links-style design built on the natural contour of the land and is the longest of the three Kapalua courses. "Golf Digest" rated this course at the 3rd "Best in State" course for 1995-96, and 4th in 1997-98. The same publication ranked it 4th in the category of "Top 75 Resort Courses" in 1992, and 63rd among the "Top 75 Upscale Courses" in 1996.
