The Excalibur is a sparkling white castle complete with moat and drawbridge. Visitors crossing the moat are treated to a magical battle every hour after dark between a mechanical Merlin the Magician and a fierce smoke-and fire-belching dragon. From the exterior design to the interior with its towering stone walls, flagstone entryway and displays of armor, everything has been done to create the illusion that visitors have entered the age of King Arthur as soon as they approach the building. Excalibur has 4,032 rooms and the casino is 100,000 square feet.
