Founded in 1867, Christ Church, Kealakekua is the oldest steepled church in Hawaii. Originally, the nave was the schoolhouse to immigrant children, mostly British, and a house of worship for native Hawaiians. This is a contemporary church which continues to respect its spiritual and historic roots.
