This secluded spot on Oahu's North Shore is a favorite. There is an attractive wooded picnic area above and steps down to a sandy beach below. Maleakahana is situatied in a large cove, and just offshore is Mokuauia Island, a state-owned bird sanctuary, which you can wade out to during low tide.
